What is DELTA?

DELTA qualification training is for those who would like to deepen their knowledge and understanding of English language teaching . If you would like to advance in your teaching career or apply for a Director of Studies position, this is an ideal qualification for you.

DELTA is an advanced blend of theory and practice that will help you to develop professionally. It gives you skills and techniques that will help you throughout your career.

DELTA consists of three modules, which you can take together or separately, in any order and at any time. It is a flexible, modular qualification – you study at your own pace, and the practical elements take place in your own workplace.

Do I qualify for DELTA training?

DELTA is for teachers with at least one year’s experience. It is suitable for teachers in any context, working with any age range – young learners, teenagers or adults. You have the opportunity to focus on a specialist area of study. Your level of English would have to be minimum C1/C2 CEFR level.

You should preferably have an English language teaching qualification such as CELTA but can be accepted if you demonstrate you can complete the DELTA training successfully and give evidence of at least one year of teaching experience.
